Refund and Returns Policy

Returns

Timeframe: We offer returns within 30 days of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase date, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. All tags must remain attached to the footwear. Items not in the original condition will not be accepted. 

Return Shipping & Costs: Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your total refund amount.

Liability: Please ensure items are returned in their original condition and packaging. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and cannot accept liability for items lost in transit.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Seasonal Sale items / Discount & Promotional Codes

Only full-priced items are eligible for a refund to the original payment method.

Items purchased on sale are only eligible for store credit for change-of-mind returns. Please note that any items purchased using any discount code are also considered sale items and will be eligible for store credit only.

 

Store Credit

Store credit is valid for 90 days from date of issue. Please note that any items purchased using store credit are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. 

 

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, please contact our team. Once the return is received and assessed, we will issue you with a store credit so you can repurchase the correct size. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If you believe your item is faulty or damaged, please email us at info@freeworldaustralia.com with your order number and 3–4 clear images of the issue. Our team will review this and advise you on the next steps.

Final Sale Items

Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. Please choose carefully, as all Final Sale purchases are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

 

Additional non-returnable items:

Heat Damage & Shrinkage

Items that have experienced shrinkage are non-returnable.

Due to the nature of how our shoes are designed to be exceptionally soft and comfortable, they can occasionally shrink if exposed to heat or direct sunlight for extended periods. 

As noted in our care instructions and disclaimer:

"To maintain the shape and fit of your Freeworld shoes, store them in a cool, dry place away from heat or direct sunlight as prolonged exposure can cause shrinkage."
